With the full 2025–26 Premier League fixture list now officially released, this blog takes a look at some of the standout matchups and key dates to mark on your calendar.

Matchweek 1

In the first game match week of the Premier League, where fans see their new signings, managers, and more is one of the most interesting for fans to see where their teams hopes will be placed for the upcoming season.

15 – 18 August 2025

Tottenham Hotspur v Burnley – (Saturday 16th August)

Aston Villa v Newcastle United – (Saturday 16th August)

Chelsea v Crystal Palace (Sunday 17th August)

Manchester United v Arsenal (Sunday 17th August)

First Home Games

Some fans will be packing out new stadiums for the first time, while others will be welcoming the Premier League’s heavyweight into town. Either way, the first home game is not one to miss.

Manchester City v Tottenham Hotspur – One of Thomas Frank’s first top six bouts comes against Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City. A fixture that will certainly the steel of Frank’s men.

Everton v Brighton and Hove Albion – Brighton & Hove Albion will make history as the first Premier League away team to visit Everton’s new Hill Dickinson Stadium when the two sides meet on August 24.

Arsenal v Leeds United – Arteta’s first home game will come against newly promoted Leeds United. A side they haven’t faced off against

Fulham v Manchester United – Fulham will host Manchester United in their first time that the Cottagers’ will be seeing a packaged out Riverside stand. A stand that has been newly renovated and sits overlooking the thames.

Derby Clashes

The Premier League is home to some of the biggest rivalries that have been competitive and intense on and off the field.
