Oleksandr Usyk v Daniel Dubois Wembley Date Confirmed

What is at stake?

On 19th July, Oleksandr Usyk and Daniel Dubois will face off for the undisputed heavyweight championship.

The Londoner Dubois currently is the IBF champion, as Usyk had to abandon the IBF belt for his fight between Tyson Fury. Meanwhile Usyk holds the WBA (Super), WBO, and WBC belts.

Usyk remains undefeated in 23 professional bouts. Meanwhile, Dubois has come back with three consecutive knockouts, including the biggest scalp of his career, Anthony Joshua.

The Ukrainian made history against Tyson Fury to become the first undisputed heavyweight champion of the four-belt era. Usyk has mentioned he would like fight for the undisputed heavyweight title one more time before his retirement.

The Briton will be aware that he can make history as no British boxer has held the undisputed heavyweight title in the four-belt era. The last Brit to be undisputed heavyweight was Lennox Lewis in 1999.

Held at England National Stadium, Wembley. This fight marks the first time in the four belt era that all major heavyweight titles will be contested in the UK.

The last fight ended in controversy with the two going head to head. Dubois knockdown Usyk which was deemed illegitimate by the referee with the shot being ruled low.

Usyk then recovered and knocked Dubois down in the ninth, with this latest bout. The what-ifs will be answered on the 19th July.
