Circuit Hospitality at Manchester City

The Packages you can experience

Circuit Hospitality is proud to be an Official Reseller for Premier League Champions Manchester City, offering a range of premium matchday experiences at the Etihad Stadium.

Our top package is the Tunnel Club Premier, which is the most immersive hospitality experience in world football. Before the match you will be taken pitch side to see the teams warm up, and then watch the players line up in the tunnel as kick off approaches. In the restaurant you will enjoy an exquisite five-course meal, with a full complimentary bar, including champagne, and the opportunity to sample fine wines with the club sommelier. Your position inside the stadium is as close to the action as is possible – in luxurious heated seats behind the home dugout.

Alternatively you might prefer our other Tunnel Club package. In the upper level of this exclusive hospitality area, you will enjoy an unrivalled behind-the-scenes experience, greeting the players as they walk through the suite to the dressing rooms before kick off, before enjoying a contemporary 11-course bowl food offering, along with a full complimentary bar. As with the Premier package, you will be seated in VIP heated seats next to the team dugouts.

We also offer the Commonwealth Bar experience, in the East Stand of the stadium. A more informal sports bar style lounge, you will have access to a private cash bar, plus a selection of premium food options to purchase on the day. Inside the stadium, you will be seated in a VIP area of the lower tier, on the half way line.

Inspired by the club’s great managers over the years, we’re also delighted to offer you the Manager’s Corner package. This fantastic Mediterranean-themed restaurant offers freshly made pizza, charcuterie plates and a range of wines and craft beers to purchase on the day. The VIP seating in the upper South West corner of the Etihad offers a stunning panoramic view of the playing surface.

In a similar vein, we have the 1894 Bar, named after the year the club was founded. This lounge is a vibrant place to enjoy time with your friends and family before and after a match at the Etihad, with access to a private cash bar and a selection of food options. As with the Commonwealth Bar, you can enjoy some of the best football in Europe from excellent half way line seats in the East Stand.

Our relationship with Manchester City allows us to offer a range of other options, if you’re looking for something a little different. This includes the fantastic Platinum Box Experience, accommodating up to 10 people in a private suite overlooking the pitch, with balcony seating directly in front; also the Chairman’s Club, a fine-dining area where you can privately network with the club executives, corporates and celebrities, before watching the match from heated seats
overlooking the dugouts; the relaxed carvery-style hospitality of the Citizens is another option, for a more homely experience; or the more vibrant Legends suite in the South Stand, the Ardwick pub-style experience, and the Kits sports bar are other less formal packages you might want to consider.

Manchester City History

Manchester City Football Club was founded in 1894, winning their first major trophy, the FA Cup, 10 years later – the first of the Manchester clubs to enjoy this level of success. In 1923 the club moved to a purpose built stadium in the Moss Side area of the city, Maine Road, which was their home for the next 80 years. During the late 1960s and 70s, the club enjoyed great success under the management team of Joe Mercer and Malcolm Allison, winning the League Championship in 1968, the FA Cup in 1969, and the European Cup Winners’ Cup in 1970. But after League Cup
success in 1976 the club went into decline in the 80s, twice relegated from the top flight. They fought back to be founder members of the Premier League in 1992, but were again relegated in 1996 and dropped to the third tier in 1998. Kevin Keegan oversaw a resurgence in the early 2000s, but the club were in a precarious financial position until 2008 when the Abu Dhabi United Group stepped in, changing the course of history for Manchester City, and the wider Premier League.

After spending heavily on new players over the next three years, City won the 2011 FA Cup under manager Roberto Mancini – their first major trophy for 35 years, and finished 3rd in the Premier League, securing a place in the Champions League for the first time. The following year the Abu Dhabi investment really paid off, as City won the Premier League title in the last seconds of the season. Mancini’s replacement Manuel Pellegrini added a second Premier League title two years later, but the period of real dominance came after the appointment of Pep Guardiola in
2016. To date, Pep’s City team have won 4 League titles, the FA Cup, and 4 League Cups. The Champions League has so far proved elusive, but the addition of Erling Haaland to the team for the 2022/23 season has given City fans absolute belief that this is going to be the year.

Success over the Red half of the City

For decades City lived in the shadow of their Manchester neighbours, United. During the club’s darkest period, as they slipped down into the 3rd tier of the English game, United were busy racking up Premier League titles and Champions League wins. But the tide has truly turned over the last few years, as United have struggled to assemble a side capable of overturning Guardiola’s City. But the rivalry remains intense, and Manchester derbies are always compelling to
watch. This season City have already beaten United 6-3 at the Etihad, Haaland and boyhood fan Phil Foden bagging a hat trick each. Over the last few years, Liverpool have become serious rivals of City, with the two sides battling it out for Premier League supremacy, and led by two of modern football’s most charismatic coaches in Guardiola and Jurgen Klopp.

Moving Home

Maine Road was City’s home from 1923 until 2003, but further redevelopment was considered to be a less attractive proposition than relocating to a new ground. Manchester had hosted the Commonwealth Games in 2002, and the City of Manchester Stadium was identified as a suitable location for Man City, a club which was originally formed in East Manchester. A huge redevelopment took place, removing the athletics track and adding additional seating. The
football club agreed an extended 250 year lease in 2010, and the stadium was officially renamed the Etihad Stadium. Subsequent redevelopment of the area has seen the club’s training facilities move onto the campus, and the Manchester City Women’s team now play their home games at the Academy Stadium, next to the Etihad.

World Class Players

Prior to the incredible array of international talent that has represented the club over the last few years – the likes of Sergio Aguero, Vincent Kompany, David Silva, Yaya Toure and many others – Manchester City have always managed to attract fine footballers. Flair players such as Georgi Kinkladze and Ali Benarbia wowed the home faithful during the club’s less successful years, and are fondly remembered alongside club favourites Sean Goater, Mike Summerbee, Franny Lee and of course Colin Bell, who has a stand named in his honour at the Etihad, and was known as the King of the Kippax.

The current squad is possibly the greatest single group of players ever assembled in English football, and it would be a hard-hearted fan of the beautiful game who fails to marvel at the way the City machine purrs into action week in, week out. We’ve got a fantastic array of hospitality packages on offer for you to witness this wonderful football team in person, so get in touch and we’ll find the right one for your needs. There’s never been a better time to enjoy a game at the Etihad, so don’t delay!

Did you know?

City’s old ground, Maine Road, held the record for the largest home attendance of any English club – 84,569 – for a match against Stoke in 1934. The record stood until 2016 when Tottenham played Bayer Leverkusen at Wembley in the Champions League. Manager Pep Guardiola is an Olympic Gold Medallist – he captained Spain to victory in the 1992 Games in his home stadium, the Camp Nou in Barcelona.
